If there’s one thing our restaurant is known for, it’s our local pizza and beer. Our pizza dough is always made fresh without any artificial preservatives. I became a quick sponsor of the Church Street Farmers Market in Deerfield NH for a variety of reasons.
First and foremost, the warm welcome from the hosts Angie and John was heartfelt. Then to witness and outstanding community support of this local community market was breathtaking. A community that truly understands the “blood, sweat, and tears” that a small business owner experience has been unlike many other markets for which I have participated.
To witness the customers, stand in line – 50 people deep – for the local baker that makes scones, was inspirational. The conversation exchanged with the patrons has been meaningful and memorable.
I also am a small business, and my budget is small, but I found it necessary to offer additional support to this local market. Its unusually successful and reminds me a of quintessential “Hallmark Movie”
